Bryan N. Miller Photography bio picture

Hi, my name is Bryan

We all have a story to tell. I meet and get to know quite a few couples at a very important time in their lives and each story I hear is completely amazing. The stories about how you met, how you fell in love and when you realized 'this is the one.'

Your children will look through your wedding album and learn about the history of your love...your grandchildren will do the same and that's why these stories are so important to tell because these are the stories we build our lives around.

This is what I love...telling stories.

And how do we do that? It's about spending time together. Chatting, learning about why you're together and what makes you tick as a couple.

And on your wedding day I'm there with you, as a storyteller documenting with my eyes and heart.  I don't get noticed much, people are relaxed around me because I'm calm and collected. Always. And as the story unfolds before us, I capture and build, moment-by-moment, frame-by-frame, each tear and smile, until the last moment has passed.

And when we get together, let's not talk about
camear gear. Let's not talk about tossing a  bouquet or garter...instead, let's chat about
why you're engaged, what you see in the person
you're marrying...tell me the vision for wedding
and how I can be a part making that vision a reality.

What do you say? Send me an email and let's get the
conversation started.

2009

2009 was a great year…I met so many new people, made a ton of new friends and I was able to travel for both work and play. I’m loving photography more and more and making plans for growth in the first year of this new decade.  Can’t believe we’re just a few days away from...

Kotah

I was exhausted…Kotah wore me out. She’s got so much energy! At one year old…she’s wired to run about 30 miles a day at 60 miles per hour. Then she’d do it again and not even think twice. I had to be quick while photographing her and I think these images  truly show her loving...

Good friends…

Before I get to Kota…Good friends I don’t get to see Kim and Rob much…they’re always on the move.  But when we get to hang out and chat it’s always a blast.  They’re total goofballs, geniuses, love life and are are totally in love with each other. They were in town last week for a...

Beginnings…

How did I know I wanted a photography business?? I’ve always wanted my own business.  Something that gives me my freedoms, challenged me, rewards me and humbles me.  Something that could allow me to be creative while still being able to make a living.  I was always creative growing up but instead of heading to...

Beachtime

Had an awesome photo shoot yesterday morning in La Jolla…I’ll get to that later.  But before the photo shoot I cleared my head of all the cobwebs with a walk on the beach. Don’t know what it is…whether surfing, swimming, running, strolling…there’s something about the water that just calms me.  I guess it’s the Pisces...

Chicken or the Egg?

A few weeks ago I spent the week with my Mom, step-dad niece and nephews in Sanger, CA.  We have a few acres up there with horses, goats and chickens.  You know, pretty standard right? Well, I always come home with a few fresh eggs and I LOVE them.  Sunny side up, scrambled, egg sandwiches,...

Megan, Getting ready

Nervously I walked up to Megan’s room at the Mission Bay Hyatt.  I always expect a hectic scene…behind schedule, craziness, excitement, laughing, happy tears…’I lost my blush!’…running around trying to make up time that has slipped away.  But not the case here!  I walked in on Megan and Amber laughing, giggling smiling and a big...

Millennium Park

My brother and I got up early while staying in downtown Chicago and walked around in the morning light.  I swear I was sleepwalking…my body was still on California time and we were up and on the streets before 7am.  It’s hard rolling out of a warm bed for 20 degree weather.  The walk and...

Windy City…

BRRR! I spent this past weekend in Chicago with family.  The temp was on average 25 degrees and a solid wind chill to top that off and get it into single digits. Uncomfortable, yes…but it really takes me back to my childhood, growing up in central Illinois.  Here in San Diego we really don’t see...
